Gandia Pride

Gandia Pride is a four-day LGBTQ+ festival on the beach at Platja de Gandia in late May. The Pride flag is raised at Platja Nord to open it, and on the Saturday evening a parade of floats runs along the Passeig Marítim de Neptú, the main seafront promenade. The programme also has DJs, drag shows and concerts, and the Mr Gay Comunitat Valenciana gala at the Moll dels Borja in the port; in 2025 the festival (22 to 25 May) hosted the Mr Gay España gala.

In 2026 the parade was on Saturday 23 May, according to Valencia Costa Blanca. Local reports name Independence Gay Associació, the council's equality department and the town's merchants as the people behind it. The 2027 dates had not been announced in November 2026; the programme usually appears in local press in spring. Separately, the council holds a Pride act in the Plaça Major around 28 June.
