For €130 a night including breakfast (at a café, a 2-minute walk away), very satisfactory. The bed was comfortable, and the staff was friendly. The location is very good, about an 8-minute walk to the old town. The bathroom was small, and the room was a bit noisy. … However, the price-performance ratio is perfectly reasonable.

Fantastic location. Super friendly and professional staff. The hotel is rated 2 stars, but I think it deserves more; it has so many thoughtful touches that make your stay very pleasant. I travel frequently for work and usually stay in hotels, and it's hard to find anything as comfortable as the Erba. The 24-hour reception, with Edith as a delight, was incredibly professional and friendly, as were her colleagues. On the first floor, there's a very spacious luggage storage area with a coffee maker, cutlery, and a microwave—everything is very nice and practical. My room (301) has a small terrace with super comfortable seating, a hairdryer with a diffuser (it's the first hotel where I can dry my hair without using my own!), a kettle, instant coffee, tea, and a huge TV. It's the first time I've had extra hangers in the closet; there were plenty, which is great. There's also a small iron, which I haven't used, but it's very nice to have. I will definitely return to the Erba, and next time I hope it will be for vacation rather than work. Congratulations to the whole team!!

We stayed at ByPillow Girona and had a really pleasant experience. The hotel is simple but very comfortable, perfect for a short stay in the city. The room was clean, well organized, and had everything we needed. The location is also a big plus, as it’s close to the main attractions, so you can easily explore Girona on foot. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made our stay even better. Overall, it’s a great option if you’re looking for something practical, cozy, and well located. We would definitely stay here again!

Sleeping is awful!!!

Absolutely negative experience. After a long wait at reception (with a queue) for check-in, the room we were assigned had a dirty bed, with clear signs of poor cleaning (hair everywhere, with photo’s evidence). This is completely unacceptable for any “normal” accommodation, especially considering the price paid. After reporting the issue, but only after a very long wait and without any real attention to the inconvenience caused, we were offered another room. At that point, given the unprofessional handling of the situation, we chose to refuse. Additionally, we were asked to pay a €100 deposit in advance, despite the service being far below acceptable standards. As a further sign of poor job qualification, the property refused our request to cancel the reservation with a refund, which is a lack of transparency towards customers. The refund request was also denied by Booking, despite the clear issue encountered. Overall, a very negative experience. I do not recommend it. 1 star only because giving less is not possible!

Yen service and location

We stayed 2 nights in a triple room. It has an elevator. 10 minutes from the center on foot... a walk. Large room with wardrobe, air conditioning, TV, bedside tables, table and chair and fridge. Large window with lots of light and very clean. The very large and bright bathroom with all the essentials: soap, hair conditioner and large powerful hairdryer. On the first floor of the building there is a room with lockers to leave luggage, tables and chairs, sofa, TV, and even microwave, plates, glasses, cutlery, cups, coffee maker and water heater. Everything was great!! I would go back and I recommend it 100%!!! A perfect long weekend for Girona!!!

I checked the facilities for a future visit from family members. Comfortable and well-maintained. We received excellent service and all our questions were answered. Highly recommended place to stay.

Excellent hotel, both for its location and the comfort of its rooms, with good mattresses and fantastic pillows—something hard to find in a two-star hotel or even higher. The room has thoughtful little touches, like a bottle of water and a teapot with various infusions, as well as a steam iron (which we didn't use, but it's a nice touch if needed). The bathroom is very spacious with a generous walk-in shower. The hotel has a small lounge where you can make coffee or tea, and large, free lockers where you can leave your luggage safely. The staff's service was exemplary at all times, especially the receptionist, who was incredibly friendly both on arrival and departure. The hotel is very close to both the train station and the city center. It's also worth mentioning that there's an elevator, which might be a bit narrow for wheelchair users. We were very happy!

A truly awful experience. Room 203 had a decaying, sewage-like smell coming from the bathroom that permeated the entire room—absolutely undignified and uninhabitable. They indicated it was the only room available, so there was no alternative but to put up with the smell. The heating was inadequate, requiring the use of a very noisy heat pump to raise the temperature. The sheets had coffee stains. The room was noisy. The staff were friendly, but with such poor conditions, there wasn't much they could do.
