Hotel Palau de Girona

We spent one night at the hotel. The room was superb and spacious. We received a very warm welcome. We also had dinner there; the service was excellent, and it was the best paella I've had in Spain so far. I highly recommend it, and I will definitely be back.

My rating is for the restaurant. They advertise being open until 10 pm, but the receptionist said they close at 4 pm, and it was 4:03 pm. Seriously?! What terrible customer service! A total disappointment.

The breakfast was bad, but the room was very good.

I've only been there for lunch and on the terrace. Very good service and great quality of the product.

We stayed two nights and our experience with the staff wasn't the best because: - We put up the "Do Not Disturb/No Entry for Cleaning" sign in the room and it was completely ignored. When we returned that night, we found our belongings moved, the bathtub wet, and the bed made. When we complained, all they told us was "it was a misunderstanding." - The first night when we returned, there were no spaces in the outdoor parking lot. We saw an entrance to an indoor parking garage, and when we rang the intercom, a man came to let us in. When we got out of the car, he didn't say anything to us, and we were able to go up to our room. A little while later, we had to go down to reception to ask for something, and at that moment the receptionist told us that she had forgotten to mention at check-in that the indoor parking was not free (€12/night) and that we had to either pay or take the car out (it was 11:00 PM) and look for parking on the street. There was also a problem in the bathroom: the toilet seat was incorrectly positioned, sticking out from the front of the toilet bowl and making it difficult to use the bathroom comfortably. Obviously, this is not what we expected from a 4-star hotel. We will not be returning.

Quiet hotel, a bit secluded, with very good value for money

Very grateful that they let me stay all morning at the hotel bar due to the floods in Girona. The woman who served me was wonderful! Thank you!!
