Winter Pride Maspalomas est le pendant de novembre de Maspalomas Pride en mai : une semaine de spectacles gratuits, de fêtes et d'une grande marche à Playa del Inglés, sur la côte sud de Gran Canaria. C'est désormais un poids lourd à part entière. La Pride Walk 2025 a attiré environ 40 000 personnes selon elDiario.es, avec des participants d'une centaine de nationalités. L'attrait est simple : le soleil de fin d'automne et l'une des plus grandes scènes hôtelières et de bars gays d'Europe.
Le centre névralgique est le Yumbo Centrum, le centre commercial à ciel ouvert au cœur de la scène gay, où la scène principale propose des spectacles gratuits tous les soirs de la semaine. Autour de celui-ci se trouvent des événements payants dans des hôtels et des clubs de plage : pool parties, une soirée blanche au Amadores Beach Club et des soirées dansantes. La Pride Walk, officiellement la Marcha por la Libertad et généralement le samedi, s'étend sur environ un kilomètre et demi du haut de l'Avenida de Tirajana jusqu'au Yumbo, avec un camion transportant les artistes de la semaine. Ensuite, le programme se poursuit sur la Plaza de la Diversidad 'Darío Jaén'.
Pratique : réservez vos vols et vos chambres tôt, car c'est la haute saison sur la côte sud et les prix grimpent. La plupart des hôtels gay-friendly sont accessibles à pied depuis le Yumbo, et la plage et les dunes sont à environ 15 à 20 minutes de marche. Les journées de novembre sont généralement comprises entre 20 et 25 °C, suffisamment chaudes pour la plage, et les soirées sont douces. Les spectacles sur la scène principale sont gratuits, mais achetez vos billets pour les grandes fêtes à l'avance ; les plus populaires affichent complet.
L'édition 2025 s'est déroulée du 10 au 16 novembre sous le slogan 'Shine bright, stay proud', avec la Pride Walk le samedi 15 novembre. Le directeur du festival, Emiel Wijnberg, a qualifié cette édition de 'brutale' dans le bon sens du terme. L'édition 2026 est annoncée du lundi 2 au dimanche 8 novembre, soit dans trois semaines ; consultez le programme officiel pour l'heure de la Pride Walk.
