Hotel Fénix Torremolinos – Adults Only

A nice and clean hotel in a great location. As its name suggests, there were no families with children there, so the atmosphere was accordingly calm and civilized. A really nice place. The breakfast was extensive and varied. The dinner buffet, in turn, offered taste experiences in line with English food culture. Excellent location. Of particular note are the two different doors to the hotel. One at the top, at the height of the restaurants (main door) and the lower door, through which you could go directly to the seashore.

The hotel is centrally located, and that's its only positive point. You wait forever for hot water, and for the elevators, it takes ages. Everything is old and badly worn, and there's mold in the bathroom. There's no coffee maker in the room, no vanity mirror, no tissues, and no hair conditioner. The walls are paper-thin. If your neighbor snores, you can hear everything. The room doors have no seals and are constantly slammed. I requested a double bed but got twin beds. At breakfast, items are replenished infrequently and slowly. Melons, papayas, etc., aren't peeled, presumably so guests can do half the work for the chef. Even if it's not your birthday, they lure you to the bar with a free drink supposedly for your birthday – this is poor marketing and doesn't foster customer loyalty at all. Loungers by the small pool aren't available until 10:00 AM and don't have cushions. Balinese beds are available for an extra charge. No bath towels are provided. You can rent one for €3.50 per day, which is a complete rip-off for a supposedly 4-star hotel. No beach section.

The hotel is located just a few meters from the seafront, conveniently located for access to the beach and the city center. Our room was spacious and clean, as were the rest of the common areas, which were always spotless and smelled fresh. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were plentiful, with numerous vegetarian options. Highly recommended!

Had a very enjoyable 5 day stay. The location was perfect. 5 min walk to the beach and old town. Rooms are really clean but looking slightly tired (chipped bathroom tiles etc). Staff are polite and friendly and happy to make recommendations. If you want to feel glamourous have lunch on the terrace! Also, no need to get up at 6am and put towels out on sun beds. We rocked up to the pool at 11am and still had a choice of loungers.

I went alone. My room faced the street; I was on the 9th floor, but it was the equivalent of the 1st floor on the street side. It was noisy due to the cars passing by, the garbage collection at night and in the morning, and I could hear the neighbors upstairs in bed. The rooms are poorly soundproofed. Otherwise, the breakfast was very complete; it had everything. The hotel was easily accessible from the beach, 200 meters away. The pool was available but I didn't try it; it felt a bit chilly, so it must be hot. There was a small gym with free access. The bar was nice, but few people were buying drinks. It's very well located in relation to restaurants and bars, the beach, and for walking along the seafront. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were cleaned daily and were clean, with a small refrigerator and safe available.

It was especially nice that the menu changed every day, so the meals always felt fresh and interesting. Everything we tasted was very flavorful and well prepared. A special thank you to waiter José Miguel Torres — he was always incredibly friendly, cheerful, and lovely to talk with. It quickly became our favorite! Thanks also to waiter Emilio for the great service. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. It was easy to find a sunbed by the pool, which made relaxing very enjoyable. The hotel also has a rooftop jacuzzi area available for an extra fee, although we did not visit it ourselves. Date of travel: 23 April - 27 April 2026 - Reason for travel: mini break/cousins wedding. From the moment my husband and I arrived, this was without a doubt one of the most beautiful and elegant adult only hotels we have ever stayed in. Every detail of the décor and atmosphere was absolutely exquisite, creating a luxurious yet relaxing experience throughout our stay. What made it even more special was that it did not feel like a typical chain hotel at all — it felt unique, personal and full of character. In fact, I wasn’t even aware before arriving that it was part of The Palm chain, which says so much about how individual and thoughtfully designed the hotel feels. The hotel is perfectly nestled into the cliffs of Torremolinos Centre, offering breathtaking panoramic viewpoints and stunning sea views from almost every corner. One of the highlights was the direct beach access, which made it incredibly easy to enjoy the coastline whenever we wanted. The location truly could not have been better — surrounded by fantastic restaurants, bars, and shops, while also being conveniently close to the airport. The cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional, and everything felt incredibly fresh, modern, and new. The photos online honestly do not do this hotel justice at all — the reality is even more impressive and beautiful in person. Most importantly, the service was outstanding from start to finish. Every member of staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel completely looked after throughout our stay. We honestly could not recommend this hotel enough. It exceeded all expectations and made our trip to Torremolinos unforgettable. We will definitely be returning.
