The service was perfect from start to finish – unobtrusive, highly competent, and the food was top-notch in terms of taste, quality, and presentation. We drank the best wine in Valencia there, a Vino de Pago Chardonnay.

Restaurant of the hotel with the same name. A central and quiet place to have a drink. Very good food but with difficulties eating without lactose. I am a person who usually pays a lot of attention to restaurants. The first thing that caught my attention was that the alert menu was not labeled with the standard numbering (lactose is number 7 and in this restaurant it was number 3). They offered us an off-the-menu dish and I asked the waitress if it contained lactose. She assured me that it did not. For dessert, as usual I could not eat anything other than seasonal fruit and the waitress told me "eat the chocolate cake, which certainly does not contain much butter". I told her that I could not eat anything dairy and she told me "but it does contain a lot of chocolate". The fact is that this fact made me distrust the off-the-menu dish and, indeed, that afternoon I was very sick because of something I ate there. Thank goodness she wasn't allergic...

Jazz night, no reservations possible, which is a shame. A wider selection of tapas would be welcome. It's one Thursday a month and not to be missed; it's very enjoyable (you have to like jazz, of course 😀, which we certainly do). The restaurant offers rather original, tasty, and generously portioned dishes at a reasonable price. Without hesitation, an address to remember. Note that the restaurant is small. Reservations are recommended. One of the best choices in Vakence.

They served all dishes very cold. Dirty floor, table placed way too close to the bar, staff coughing constantly.

The menu is a bit limited but appealing. The wait time is a bit long. The staff, especially the waitress, were very friendly.

We loved it! We went for a family dinner and the food was excellent, well-prepared and presented. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They have gluten-free options.

The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our visit, which makes it even more disappointing to leave this review. I understand that Russian salad may be prepared differently in Valencia, but the version served here felt more like a spread and had an unpleasant oily aftertaste. The Helen's Signature Potato starter was also disappointing. It appeared to be layers of pan-fried potatoes cut into shape, but it was extremely oily and only seemed to have flavour on the top layer. The texture suggested it may have been reheated rather than freshly prepared. The Duck Taki Taki was particularly underwhelming. Instead of having a nicely rendered, golden-brown sear, the fat was pale, white, and largely unrendered. The duck itself was served medium-rare, which can work when properly prepared, but combined with the unrendered fat, the dish was quite unpleasant. The steak was another major disappointment. It arrived medium-rare, despite the waiter never asking how we wanted it cooked. When we sent it back because it was far too rare for our preference, the kitchen simply appeared to re-cook the same pieces of steak. It came back heavily overcooked on the outside, almost black, rather than being replaced with a freshly cooked steak prepared to the requested doneness. Overall, the food quality and execution fell well below expectations. Given the reputation and standard this establishment aims to project, the experience was very disappointing.
