There were six of us at Equitable, and we had the pleasure of enjoying the five-course menu with wine pairings. We were absolutely thrilled with the service, the restaurant, and of course, the food itself. Everything was incredibly delicious and complemented each other perfectly, and the accompanying wines were always a great match. Even the fact that we had three different menu choices (some of us wanted everything, one didn't eat meat, and I didn't eat fish) wasn't a problem at all, which I really appreciated. It was a truly wonderful evening with friends, where we enjoyed excellent food and drinks. 🍽️🍷

Unfortunately, a staff member placed a candle directly behind my head, causing my hair to catch fire. Not an experience I expected at a fine-dining restaurant.

Jul 2026 - Went back again, and my original review still stands. This is the first Michelin restaurant I've ever repeated. Jul 2023 - This was truly a culinary experience and absolutely worth the price. The food was exquisite, the wine pairings were perfect, and the service was elegant but not pretentious.

Had dinner with my family in May 2026 and it was great. The restaurant is not located in the city center but it is in a nice building. The decoration is average and the pink neon lights at the bar feels very tacky and not at its place there. The welcome and the staff has been amazing throughout the dinner; very kind, great service and professional, a true highlight. The food was excellent too, mastered from the beginning to the end and special mention to the non alcoholic pairing which is also a success. On top of the very average decoration, it is very noisy in there and truly missing some fabric to absorb the noise. But overall, truly one of the best restaurant in Zurich (after Orsini and the Counter in my opinion) for its excellent food, amazing staff and service.
