Hôtel Retropera

I would give 0 stars if I could. The hotel is freezing, the rooms are cold. I called reception several times, the rooms are cold, the heaters aren't working very well. They kept saying they were increasing the temperature, but nothing happened. The air conditioning isn't working, probably because it's winter. When I asked reception, they said the air conditioning only works for cooling, what a lie! It should have two different modes, cold and hot. They're treating us like fools. Okay, you're a cheap hotel, but don't deprive people of the minimum service a hotel should provide. The rooms and furnishings are old. There are plenty of alternative hotels around; definitely don't choose this one.

Nice place, it was located in fethiye st and I don't expect such a big room for 3 person with that price. Overall it was an acceptable stay. Would be nice if it serves breakfast or food.

best of the best location, kind and very helpful staff. Clean rooms. We had a transit flight and spent some hours in istanbul in this small hotel apartment.

receptionist was too rude. overall liked the hotel but i do not recommend this hotel

I read some old negative reviews, but I booked twice and honestly, the receptionist was very flexible and helpful, spoke fluent English, and was very cooperative. I had booked a room, but because I smoke, he gave me a larger, more spacious one free of charge. Plus, there was a kettle, coffee and tea making facilities, good air conditioning, a large bed, a clean bathroom, and everything was perfect. I highly recommend it. A day there costs approximately 125 riyals.
