Novotel Cardiff Centre

The quality of service and care for customers is fantastic. The check in process is quick, friendly and efficient. Megan I would highlight for high praise on reception who will solve problems and provide the highest standards of friendly, professional service. The rooms are good and clean. The only slight area for improvement is the car parking barrier system. I would recommend staying at this venue.

Currently at the Novotel Cardiff Centre and had an excellent experience from start to finish. Although we have stayed several times befor I needed to do my review because every time we stay this place never lets us down ! the hotel is in a fantastic location, within easy walking distance of both Cardiff city centre and Cardiff Bay, making it the perfect base for exploring the city. The room are spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep, and the housekeeping standards is excellent throughout my visits. One of the highlights was the hotel's leisure facilities. The swimming pool, sauna, steam room, and gym were all well-maintained and provided a great way to unwind after a busy day. The breakfast is fantastic & for children too What truly made each stay memorable is the friendly and professional staff.. Eilidh was very welcoming, helpful, and eager to ensure we had a positive experience. Overall, the Novotel Cardiff Centre offers excellent value, great facilities, and exceptional service. ?very child friendly too .I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cardiff, whether for business or leisure, and I look forward to staying there again in the future. Thank you for always ensuring we are having a great time your kindness never goes unnoticed:) looking forward to our next visit ( we ain’t left yet haha )

We arrived at 2.40pm and we had checked in online the day before as advised to do by the hotel to ensure the room was ready. I went to the desk and asked if the room was ready I understand I’m 20 minutes early but often hotels would have the rooms ready by then. The room wasn’t ready and I was told to sit and wait and return to the desk at 3pm. I returned to the desk at 3pm to be told it still wasn’t ready and to sit and wait and someone would come find me when it was ready, I’m still waiting, after 40 minutes I went back to the desk as we were meeting our daughter and wanted time to freshen up before going out no apology for the wait and after lots of typing on the computer finally had a room but no info about breakfast times or anything. I don’t know why I didn’t just book a travel lodge or premier inn as the service was similar and the rooms weren’t any different to one but I thought as a treat I would pay a bit more and book something nicer. Next time I won’t bother. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it.

Shout out to all the lovely & cheerful staff especially at breakfast time. Special thanks to Lit who welcomed us with iced water and free juice for the kids amid the heatwave upon our early arrival. Also kept guiding and supporting us daily through breakfast without us asking for it :) Big thanks to the amazing friendly Anita who is always smiling and helping, running around like a bee, making sure everyone is happy and everywhere is clean; such a hardworking lady! Thanks to Sayed at the bar too! Another great person is the Asian housekeeping lady -sadly didn’t get her name :(

Amazing stay!

Brilliant stay, room was spotless, the spa area is brilliant for a quick dip and steam room.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It's right in the heart of the city with easy access to famous tourist attractions. I requested a travel cot and got one. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and staff were responsive to all our requests. The hotel has a family friendly area where my daughter enjoyed playing. Only fault was that the jacuzzi at the pool was being serviced and we could not use it during our stay. Overall, our stay at the hotel was a good experience.

We stayed at the Cardiff Novotel for three nights and the stay was very good. Eilidh at the reception was very cheerful and helpful in accomodating to our requests. The breakfast choices were limited for us as we are vegetarian but the chef offered to make us vegan sausages which were good. Overall a happy experience.

The hotel is the best place in all of Wales of the places we visited. I would like to give a special thank you to Tammy, she is amazing, very responsive, works quickly and accurately.
