Pride Cymru

Pride Cymru is the volunteer-led charity behind Wales's national Pride, held in Cardiff each summer. The weekend combines a parade through the city centre with a ticketed festival site and stages. The organisation's roots go back to Cardiff's Pride marches of the 1980s and the Cardiff Mardi Gras events of the late 1990s and 2000s. Outside the festival it works on LGBTQ+ visibility and community projects across Wales. Check the website for this year's dates, ticket prices and parade route before booking a hotel. Cardiff fills up on Pride weekend, and the city's gay bars around Churchill Way and Charles Street are packed.
