Hôtel Telstar

While studying nearby as a commuting student, I regularly stayed at The Telstar and always had a great experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms cosy and inviting, and the atmosphere warm and comfortable. The breakfast was a real treat, making it a place I’d gladly return to on my next trip to Devon. Highly recommended!

I left my trainers in my room and the staff very kindly sent them back to my home - amazing service and massively appreciated!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Its location is perfect, just a short walk from the city center, yet it’s wonderfully quiet. The rooms were spotless, and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic. But the biggest highlight of my stay was the hotel manager, Ms. Magda, who is warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. She truly made the experience even more special. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

A short stay in the smallest room offered - A lovely pre-war building about 6min wall from Exeter st davids. Lovely hosts whos experience really shines through. A lovely full English included in the price to set you up for the day. Great use of the room space, I was surprised with the amenities it offered, even with a little wall mounted tv and en-suite. Perfect for a single night's stay. My only suggestion would be a new shower head but that's a very easy fix. Overall I thought great value for money for the location and amenities. Would recommend and stay again.

Lovely hotel amazing breakfast

Friendly and accommodating staff. Room traditional, cozy and small but clean with fluffy towels and toiletries provided. Breakfast of a good quality, accommodating with allergies and offered us an extra space at the table at breakfast for our son who attends the university for a small charge of £10 (worth every penny). Car park small but the staff go out of their way to make space.

Amazing place. Perfect for singles. So clean,the service was second to none and the breakfast was perfect. A 10 minute walk from the train station.

I have never stayed in such a clean cozy, and friendly guest house. The hotel staff were all very friendly. The breakfast was very clean and delicious. My room was small, but everything was clean and tidy. I would choose this guest house again next time.
