The Belmont Hotel

The Belmont is an independent hotel in a row of Victorian townhouses on De Montfort Street, at the top of New Walk, the tree-lined Georgian promenade that runs into the city centre. It has 4.3 on Google from more than 1,200 reviews. The railway station is about five minutes' walk. Dover Castle and Rainbow & Dove are roughly 10 to 15 minutes away, mostly along New Walk. It suits people who want somewhere quieter than the centre but still within walking distance of the bars.
