King William

Went to a Seniors lunch today and the food was delicious. Perfectly proportioned too. Very friendly staff. Made to feel welcome, will definitely go again. Thankyou all, we really enjoyed our visit. Xx

Good pub

Stopped by for a quick pint! Been a few years since I’ve been in this pub. Nice to see it’s had a turn around and looking good. Cheers 🍻

To be honest non standard rooms. Not good service too.

Stayed here for one night. Room basic, but spotlessly clean. Bit of noise from neighbouring room's squeaky bed but that could be sorted. Staff very welcoming and the pub had a great atmosphere. The highlight was the food. I had the sticky beef with noodles. The peppers and spring onions had been prepared and cooked perfectly. The beef was tender and tasty. All brought to the table by a smiley chef. Very good. Would stay here again.

Lovely evening meal at the King William. Food was delicious and the service couldn’t have been better. Lee , the manager, was very welcoming and friendly. First visit but will be back!

Found this little gem of a pub on google as we wanted somewhere nice and close to railway station, first impressions through the door, nice decor, good choice of beers and a very good menu, we had the duck hoisin wraps that were delicious, great choice of Manchester music playing, friendly attentive staff, spotless toilets, couldn't fault it.

Very last minute booking but extremely friendly manager and perfectly good rooms. Basic but comfortable and great location for centre of Wilmslow

We visited the king William for lunch and was quite surprised to find the pub very quiet with only a handful of other people in. However, we were welcomed by Lee See and shown to the table of our choice. Lee took our drinks order and then provide us with menus. This is Robinson's pub and the menu is what you would expect. However, what I would say is the quality of the food that we had was excellent, 2 of us have cheese and onion pie, which was beautifully balanced, seved with gravy, vegetables and mash (though we had chips). The other meals that we had were equally filling and enjoyable. The King William seems to have undergone a transformation over the last couple of months and they are undoubtedly trying to attract new custom through quiz nights and other activities specifically on Monday evening. I have to say that we found the whole experience really enjoyable. Lee, the manager. Was extremely helpful and the food that was provided to us was of really excellent quality. We will be going back and for a simple Robinsons pub, in Wilmslow, it is one to look out for.
