Hôtel Royal Seven Stars

A place to stay again and again! Was made to feel very welcomed, (arriving late from 9 hrs stuck on motorway.) Young male member of staff offered help carrying luggage upstairs. Food was served despite 'hours of service' ending and meal was delicious. Courteous, patient and pleasant informative staff on places to visit in Totnes and surrounding areas. Room was immaculate including en-suite, with a fan much needed and appreciated. Full jug of iced water on sideboard, and other little extras made it special for me. Felt like a dream upon entering the 'Seven Stars' and members of the public made it enjoyable as they entered each morning for a coffee and chatted to happy staff, whilst they shopped on both sides of a busy high street. The bar had good range of drinks and seating was very cosy in this very historical building.

Only drinks and meal here, well located at bottom end of high street. Decent fish/ chips meal for average area prices.
