Canceled apartment on us when we was half way there

Unable to give zero stars. One star is way too much. Messaged to say room unavailable and I could either have alternative or refund and stay elsewhere. Heard nothing despite numerous messages and my money was taken. Did this through booking.com so you might think there was some ‘protection’ but no! Having read some of the reviews on here I suspect they can’t be real! Avoid this place, and avoid booking.com in future too - which is the actual point of that app?! Just use google maps and contact hotel directly- it’s the same price if not cheaper and with more protection.
