Club 69 is a weekly Thursday-night party, not a bar, held at Niceto Club on Avenida Niceto Vega in Palermo Hollywood. It has been a fixture of Buenos Aires nightlife for many years, with drag queens, costumed dancers, stage shows and a dance floor. The crowd is mixed: gay, straight, locals and tourists. As with most Buenos Aires parties, nobody turns up early. The show and the crowd peak around 2am. Entry is paid at the door, and the price varies by night and how early you arrive. Check Niceto Club's listings for the current Thursday programme before you go.

No, they don't sell food, only drinks... it's a really great atmosphere to unwind, the variety of people and the respect is what makes it so great... obviously the DJs, the bar staff, everyone makes Club 69 a good place.

They say you have to respect everyone in life… but I've never seen places like Club 69 where drugs are sold and consumed. Right in front of everyone, like it's nothing; instead of a hello, they snort a line, and instead of a goodbye, they push a pill. Truly sad!
