Beaches difficult to enjoy due to the surf

The best beach in he area. The beach is wide with golden sand. The beach and the boardwalk are clean and safe. Also the Main Street in back of the beach is full of good shops and restaurants. Great vibe clean town.

As a total beach lover, I was so happy to discover this spot. The beach itself is great, but honestly, walking along the boardwalk (malecón) was the highlight for me. There’s just something about that ocean breeze and the vibe of the walk that makes the experience perfect. It’s a beautiful place to explore and just soak everything in. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Beautiful beach, but I don't think it's right for bathing. And in winter it is only to contemplate because it is quite cold. We were able to see seals playing in the waves and nearby we saw a sea lion. The plaque is by the coast, but we have not experienced any noticeable tremors.

The best beach I've ever met on the edge of Santiago! A clean, organized beach, good road and fine sand. Great for editing!

Even in winter, I expected a more beautiful place. The beach is simple, barely has a sidewalk, no kiosks, few trees, no decoration. For those who are used to the Brazilian beaches with those blooming and colorful promenades, will be disappointed. Just worth a stop to see the waters of the Pacific.

Unfortunately it's not how the picture shows They are not totally crystal clear waters, calm and less so at Caribbean temperature, nor are there complexes with the all-inclusive system in which you have restrooms, towels, baths, showers 🚿 to clean the seawater and rest without that feeling of dryness in the skin. But within what we have in Chile is good, pity that you can not enjoy all year considering bathing and 🌞 although a winter hike with sea breezes is always welcome.

Do not recommend, the other beaches of vina del mar has a better structure. Totally graceless I was in July with my husband and two children, and we only made one stop, but the region where the flower clock stands is much better.

Bring comfortable clothes to walk on the beach. If you have time left, enjoy visiting Valparaiso and Vina del Mar

Very good option for summer in Chile, very close to Viña del Mar. The water is not very warm and the sea is usually very rough but it is nice and its color is very beautiful compared to the Argentine sea

I went in June 2026, it was cloudy but all the places were available to get to and eat, no problem finding parking, and next to the waterfront where it's always crowded there were stalls, ideal for a relaxing getaway without the stress of the crowds.

Beautiful Reñaca

A traditional beach and important tourist destination in the Valparaíso Region. A peaceful atmosphere, clean beach, access to amenities, and a wonderful view of Viña del Mar and Valparaíso. Perfect for families, where children, teenagers, and adults can play, have fun, enjoy sports, and simply relax by the sea. Highly recommended.

Nice to sit on, not suitable for the bathroom. Remember to take your trash with you :)
