Esencia Hotel Boutique

Esencia is a small boutique hotel in a house on 5 Norte, in the grid of numbered streets north of the Marga Marga, about 1 km from Plaza Vergara. Google rates it 4.9 from about 200 reviews, the highest score among Viña's central hotels. It's a quiet, residential base within walking distance of the beach and the Avenida San Martín restaurants. It's a mainstream hotel, not a gay venue. Chilean law has allowed same-sex marriage since 2022 and bans discrimination by sexual orientation, so couples book a double room without fuss.
