Casa Andina Standard Machu Picchu

The service was outstanding; they offered to change our room to one with a river view so we wouldn't hear the train. The room was large and very clean. Romualdo, who looked after us, was very attentive.
Stayed with family for Machupichu trip. In the very limited hotel in AC this is reasonable price and good place to stay. If you are light sleeper it may be problem as it is on railway tracks. Although the did good job in soundproofing. Breakfast is ok but good compare to other hotels in the area. I tried to checkin a hour earlier than check in time, folks on the reception desk messed it up but Manager came up, understand the situation and resolve it professionally. Thank you for that.
The hotel is nice, but the noise from the train right next to the building is very annoying.
It was comfortable. The train noise is quite loud when you open the window, but it's very close to the station, which is convenient. Breakfast was delicious. The provided blanket was very warm.
The only good thing is the location. I had to upgrade the room because the first room has no outdoor window. The property is average. You can find better accommodation in the area for similar prices.
Hotel was clean but the room was right next to the lobby which is unfortunate as opening the door led directly into the lobby. There was a lack of privacy as a result and noise from the lobby. In addition, the shower was quite small, the water did not go down much causing it to come up to my ankles, and also leaked onto the bathroom floor. Because the shower was so tight and the difficulty of movement due to the water not going down, I ended up hitting my head on the knobs of the shower and bleeding from my head. In addition, the employee at the desk did not seem happy to help my wife when she asked for a bag of ice for my head. Unfortunately, I would not return. The location was ok as it was not too far from the bus to Machu Pichu or the main tourist area.
