Quality Inn West Edmonton

The check-in process was smooth, and the room was clean and comfortable throughout our stay. Unfortunately, our experience during check-out was disappointing. On the day of our departure, housekeeping entered and began cleaning our room before we had officially checked out. We had left approximately $30 worth of takeout food and canned energy drink in the room. When we returned, we were surprised to find that the room was already being cleaned and our takeout food had been thrown away. The staff were able to return the drink, as they had been set aside. The front desk apologized and explained that the housekeeper had mixed up the room number. While I appreciate the apology, I was disappointed that no compensation was offered for the food that was discarded due to the mistake.

Somewhat outdated but clean and very spacious rooms

I had a very disappointing experience during my stay. It happened June 3 at around 12 midnight. I accidentally left my room key inside my room and went to the front desk for assistance. I was booked for a work-related training trip, the staff refused to help me access my room because the booking had been made by my employer. While I understand the importance of security policies, I expected the staff to make a reasonable effort to verify my identity and assist me. Instead, I was left feeling frustrated and inconvenienced. Customer service should balance security with practical solutions for guests who find themselves in situations like this. Unfortunately, this experience negatively affected my stay in this hotel

Jacqueline gave great service. She went up and beyond than what I expected. I was worried about staying at a new city for multiple weeks, especially in regards to the food, but she made the experience great and accommodated my dirty restrictions.
