The food arrived cold; it was a big disappointment because I was really looking forward to it.

I felt rushed throughout the meal as if they wanted us out as quickly as possible.

Love this restaurant! The food is excellent, and the owner’s son took such great care of us—kind, funny, accommodating, and incredibly knowledgeable about the wine list. He gave us a terrific recommendation. We ordered the ravioli, gnocchi and short ribs, and everything was cooked to perfection. We also shared the Brussels sprouts as an appetizer—delicious! We were visiting from Ottawa and had relatives with us from New York, and they absolutely loved the restaurant too. And don’t leave without seeing the murals in the back room. They’re stunning—and the story behind them makes them even more special. Highly recommend!

Visited from Toronto this weekend and had the pleasure of dining at Eliot & Vine! Delicious food, warm and welcoming ambience, and very friendly service. Would definitely recommend to anyone, local or abroad, for a great taste of what Halifax has to offer. Menu highlights for me were the perfectly crispy haddock, buttermilk fried chicken, and brussels sprouts. Oh, and buck-a-shuck oysters from 4:00-5:30pm!! So fresh and satisfied my east coast seafood craving. You can tell a lot of love went into the menu and the wine list, there is something for everyone. A wonderful experience here, will be back. Thank you E&V for being a highlight of an amazing weekend. 🩷

We had amazing service as we celebrated that last night of a friend’s visit. Wine was amazing, service was warm and attentive, and the food was really good. We felt bad for keeping these folks as we were the last table of the night but we had such a wonderful time.

Food was good! Really enjoyed the ravioli & the torte. The crème brûlée wasn’t my cup of tea with the apricot but that’s okay. The service was the disappointing part. Our waiter wasn’t great and service was quite slow. Fairly expensive, but again, food was pretty good.
