Fairmont Queen Elizabeth

It's impossible to make a reservation in person. When I went to book a room more than two months in advance, I was told I had to call, and to get an idea of ​​the price, I was given the nightly rate for a room I didn't know I'd ever booked—I've never seen anything like it in a hotel. During the call, I spoke to four different people: the operator, an unknown department with no French-speaking staff, the concierge, and finally a supervisor. It's far too long and complicated to book a room if you don't do it online; it's a shame…

Great hotel centrally located in downtown Montreal. Stayed on the gold level. Very much worth the upgrade.

Absolutely amazing very good place

A good hotel in a great location. The quality of the room is excellent although on the small side and the toilet with shower was very small and cramped but was nice and clean. The best thing about the stay was the beds - so incredibly comfortable! I asked reception for a small jug of milk and 2 mugs so that we could make a decent-sized tea. They said yes no problem but when the person turned up at our room they brought two more small cups and a handful of Coffeemate creamers. The pool was nice, a little small but I was lucky to have it to myself for 15 minutes. The jacuzzi/spa bath was very small and unsafe - I couldn't see the hard corners of the huge steps in the water so I knocked my legs. The loungers were way too low down for comfort. I loved the shop and cafe in the lobby. I bought some very tasty bagel sandwiches from there - Artisan I think the place is called... Unfortunately there were very few staff to serve at the counters/tills.

I had an excellent stay at the Fairmont; everything was perfect, from the room to the warm welcome from the staff. Special mention to Chefs Edgar and Edith for the quality of the dishes served at Rosélys.

Had a wonderful stay at Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth in Montreal. The hotel perfectly combines historic charm with modern luxury, and the overall atmosphere feels elegant and welcoming from the moment you arrive. The location is excellent and makes exploring Montreal very convenient, whether you are walking around downtown, shopping, or visiting nearby attractions. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, and the lobby and common areas have a very refined and upscale feel. The room was comfortable, clean, and well designed, with a relaxing atmosphere after a long day in the city. The service throughout the hotel was also excellent — professional, attentive, and friendly. One thing I really appreciated was how smooth and organized everything felt during the stay, from check-in to checkout. Fairmont hotels always have a certain level of quality and hospitality, and this location definitely lived up to that reputation. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in Montreal.

Our stay was decent overall. Lobby looks elegant and impressive. Staff that we encountered was helpful. Only negative side we found is how our floor area was maintained. Many trays and foods was in the hallway for a long period of time every day of our stay. Bad smells of foods… For a luxury hotel, it looks that details are not a priority.
