AIDS Vancouver Island (AVI Health & Community Services) has a Nanaimo office at 102-55 Victoria Road. It provides sexual-health services, HIV and hepatitis C support, harm reduction and testing for central Vancouver Island.
AVI also runs a Men's Wellness Program for gay, bi and queer men, Two-Spirit and trans men, covering peer support, outreach and safer-sex supplies. Check avi.org or call ahead for current hours and which services are offered at the Nanaimo office.
