Executive Inn at Whistler Village & Mountain Side Hotel

This was a terrible stay at Executive Inn Whistler. When we checked in, there was dog hair all over the room. While booking, it clearly stated that only designated rooms are pet-friendly, so this was very disappointing. On top of that, the heater wasn’t working and the induction stove also didn’t work. We constantly had to call housekeeping to get things fixed. The worst part was during the night — we woke up multiple times, around 2 AM and again at 4 AM, to noises of rats in the room. None of us could sleep properly because of it. Imagine paying so much for a stay and having rats in your room eating your food. When we complained to the front desk, the staff member seemed least bothered. We waited until 8:30 AM to speak with the manager, only to be told that the manager was unavailable. Later, we received an email saying there was nothing they could do. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing and unacceptable experience.

Stayed at Executive Inn hotel for a weekend during shoulder season but enjoyed the location anyways. We got a big room with a beautiful mountain view and enjoyed 2 level design with a bedroom on the upper level and a kitchen and a dining room on the lower one. The hotel benefits from its location in the center of the village - the pedestrian walkway with all the street retail opportunities is available right after passing entrance doors. Nonetheless of a pedestrian oriented village madterplan we had no issues with parking our car on underground parkade. No question we'll be looking forward to coming back to this destination one day again.

A bit dated. We had a very nice studio with a fully equipped kitchen and a gas fireplace in the room. Ski lift and Whistler Village center just around the corner.

Beware of bedbugs. I spent a very itchy night at this whole and found bugs in the morning. Management never contacted me back regarding the severity of the problem. I haven’t been able to sleep properly since then due to paranoia about them being transferred.

My husband booked a 1 night stay for my bday weekend. The room booked was a loft room, with livingroom downstairs and bed upstairs, however the one we had must have been a corner room or so, that the ceiling above the bed was slanted thereby making the ceiling practically a foot away from the head of bed on one side. So if you were to wake up and sit up you would bonk your head on the ceiling. This made it very claustrophobic and I was uncomfortable. My husband asked the front desk if we could change the room because we were not happy with the layout. Without hesitation the front desk clerk, Sidney quickly moved us to another room, which was 100% better 😊 Thank you so much!!! to Sidney for being so accommodating and understanding of the situation, which ended up making our weekend a very pleasant stay in the end!

I accidentally stranded myself for the night in whistler. Called and got a decent quote for a room. $178 for the night for one person. Not bad. Parking for the night underground is $30 per night. (Optional) Room was huge. I mean huge. One of the nicest places ive stayed ever. Great staff and in a good location. Bring waters with you. The one in the room is $6. Haha.

There’s no place like home…and that’s how we felt staying at The Inn. It’s an old building and has the bumps & bruises to show it for sure, so if you’re looking for glamour it may not be a good fit for you but if you’re on a tighter budget , it’s a 5 star experience…I booked the queen loft studio and was surprised that our room looked like a little apartment rather than a hotel room. Beautiful kitchen (stove burners yes, just no oven), lovely living room with fireplace - the couch was so comfy we wanted to take it home with us, and the patio was so big. The bed was upstairs - so cool, we didn’t know that when we booked. The place had such a homey feel. My daughter kept saying “let’s go back home” rather than “back to the hotel”. I honestly could live there. The location is great, right in the Village. And the STAFF! Absolutely wonderful service. Everyone was so kind and friendly, and helped us with our suitcases. The place is a bit of a maze so we needed help finding our room at first and there are stairs - the elevator only takes you so far, so I do advise to be prepared for that if you use a stroller or wheelchair (they may have rooms that suit those needs, definitely work asking). They had umbrellas by the door for guests to use which was a nice touch. My daughter wanted me to add that the hot cocoa provided in the lobby was the best she ever had! We will definitely be staying here next time we go to Whistler!
