Staff and rooms are very nice. I really don't care for the vagrants sitting outside living on the streets begging for cigarettes.

Strict check in time, couldn't get in earlier I was so tired had to wait until 4pm. Sat around the near by hospital lobby nowhere to sit in the hotel lobby. I was told to asked every hour for availability for earlier check in I left my number & bags. (Did not get a call for an early check in) Checked in at 4pm got to the room shower toilet in one room (no tub) sink outside the washroom I found that strange. One bed. I was sitting on the bed & seen something crawling on the wall (was a bug) I don't know what kind didnt make a big deal thought it was just one. Seen another bigger bug on another wall looked similar and another on another wall, I heard housekeeping in the hall I went out to ask the housekeeping to come in my room & look at a bug. She came in the room but left a door stop to hold the door open I appreciate that very professional. She seen the bigger bug & a new smaller one she took them both & told me to call front desk. I called the front desk asked to be moved to a different room I was told to get the bug & prove it, I explained I had the housekeeping come look at it & she took the bugs they said for me to tell her to call the front desk. I waited they called to ask if I opened any of my bags (made me feel infested like it was my fault) I said no, then got moved me to a different room same floor. I said I'd prefer a different floor & wasn't comfortable being moved a few rooms over. They said no. I couldn't sleep or feel comfortable so I just showered & got an earlier travel home.

Rating one star for their customer service. My teenage son came back to the hotel from visiting a friend and the front desk accused him of lying about staying here and accused him of attempting to sleep in the stair well because he didn't have a key to use the elevator. If that's how they speak to people they really should not be working in the hospitality sector. Rating 5 star for location because it's right next to the Children's Hospital where my child is admitted.
