Warning. Worst experience with my group of friends. The cleaning staff were nice but the people at the register were so rude. My friend’s stuff was stolen while he was undressing and the staff did not care one bit. They were yelling and arguing with my friend which did not help de-escalate the situation. As people that work in the hospitality industry, this place had poor management. I truly don’t recommend this place unless you want to be yelled and belittled. We went twice to check if they checked the cameras for the stolen items as they promised they would and again the “manager” with black plugs or earrings escalated the situation. He did not want to help us at all, very unprofessional for this kind of space.

Tuesday is discount day so it was relatively busy, esp after 8 PM. Friday and Saturday nights are the busiest esp approx 10 pm- past midnight. Sunday : people usually come earlier at approximately 8 PM All other days are relatively quiet. The sauna is clean, well maintained. They have douche room for 30 peso ( price of the tube). Been to many saunas all over the world, Spartacus is one of the best.

One of the best places in Vallarta and Mexico in general. I've been more than 15 times and had a fantastic time every single time. I encourage you to continue with that excellent service.

I'm Colombian and I loved the place. The facilities are beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. The music and service were great. I highly recommend it.

Updated I really like Spartacus, and have recently written bad reviews about lack of this or that, and uncleanliness, and prices too high, but I am updating my review again: The staff remains friendly and cute. Really professional looking and acting lately, with sharp matching shirts and quick service. Lots of cleaners running around doing a good job. Smells clean. This is a big, rambling 3 storey club with lots of twists and turns and levels to explore. The vibe is positive. Packed on a Saturday night and lots of fun but the price clearly fluctuates during events in PV. Previously I called this price gouging and was mad, but I’ve reconsidered… This IS a solely tourist-driven local economy. Business is flat to near non-existent thru the summer months. It’s surge pricing in tourist season in a tourist town, and that’s OK. Prices are back down to pre-event rates, $550 pesos for a room, $450 pesos for a locker. Reasonable and comparable to Canadian and American clubs. Examples: Standard room, weekend rate, Steamworks Canada: $32.00 CDN. Standard Room, weekend rate, Chute Club, Arizona: for members $22.00 USD, non members add one-time $11.00 membership fee Less of certain amenities at Spartacus like a gym, but I have FAILED to mention the bar and pool on the roof ‘cause I don’t use them (SMH!). It’s a popular and SIGNIFICANT amenity. My mistake, and an unfair omission. The new shower faucets are practical, OK, sure, for saving water. No individual temperature control, but the temperature is now perfect. Only operates when a button is fully depressed, shuts off instantly, and that’s ok too, as they have great pressure. They make sense now. Rooms and floors cleaned. Steam room clean, hot-tub still a little suspect. DON’T Lose Your locker or room key or break the wristband! A fee will possibly be levied and the staff is not nearly as friendly and cute when that happens. I’ve upgraded back to 4 stars ‘cause I’m over myself and my objection to the high prices for event weeks. It’s business. Also, the shower temperature has been tweaked to perfection, the place is clean, and I’ve been unfairly leaving out the rooftop pool and bar as amenities. Go check it out!

This place is a must if you’re ever in Puerto Vallarta. In conveniently located in Zona Romantica and within walking distances of many hotels. The facility is a good size. The staff is friendly. The papi behind the counter even called me papi 🤪. You can either rent a locker or a private cabin for a little extra. Towels and slippers are provided for free. Lube and condoms aren’t provided for free and can be purchased. On the first floor, there are showers, a large steam room, a sauna, and a jacuzzi. The second floor has a large dark room where all the action takes place (I’m pretty sure I stepped on poo here). There are also private cabins and a large video room. The third floor has a large outdoor pool and a bar. The crowd is mixed between locals and tourists (mostly gringos). I’m pretty sure I was the only Asian one there the two nights I went. It gets busy around midnight on weekends. I would visit again.

It doesn't need any further reviews, but here's mine: I've visited several gay saunas around the world. This one is among the best equipped, with a jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, cold room, dark room, an orgy area, several lockers, showers, a pool, and even a bar. It offers a lot, and on busy days, the place is a great place to have a blast. I met several men from different parts of the world, and there were no problems with the staff; on the contrary, they were very attentive. The cleanliness was excellent; in fact, you can leave tips for the cleaning staff. There are free condoms, lubricants, enemas, and many other things to enjoy in case you forget them or run out, all at an affordable price. Things to improve? The showers have a push-button system that you have to keep pressed down, which is inconvenient and not at all sexy. They could install a timed push-button system to avoid wasting water. In the dark room, it would be nice to have more equipment: chairs, swings, poles, beds. And I'm not much for smells, so during a passionate night the place is very enclosed in the dark area.

Great place to visit if you are in the romantic zone in Puerto Vallarta. Hundred percent gay friendly place with a lot of fun for all lol

The first time I went, everything was great, but now that I'm back, it's $750 for a cabin!! Wow, that's really ripping people off! And I know the person who answered will say, "Come on the promotional day," but I'll tell you, if you're going to raise the prices like that, improve the facilities. The day I went, only one steam room was on, it smelled bad, the showers were dirty and unmaintained, the darkroom didn't have fans, and to top it all off, the attitude of your employees was terrible!! If you're not American or European, they treat you badly. Have they forgotten that they also have to live off the money of locals and pay their bills? Seriously, Spartacus was one of the attractions that, being part of the LGBT community, made you come to Vallarta. Sadly, I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. Improve your areas for improvement, which are many.
