Carli's Fine Bistro and Piano

Our last night in PR. Was looking for some fine dining but not too formal. This place was perfect. Sat at the bar. Bartender was great. Steak, snails, grouper fish, potatoes. Everything was delicious. Would come back again for sure. Take a walk after to up the hill to the water and history of PR as well. Great food. Great spot.

We were looking forward to a nice dinner at Carli’s, but the experience fell short. The fish arrived dry, the vegetables were overly salty, and the glass of wine tasted off. The dining room also smelled a little greasy, which you wouldn’t expect in a nice restaurant like that. It’s a shame, because the setting had potential.

First time we went there, specifically for the music. There is a sign in the front of the restaurant that says piano jazz live. We sat outside service was very good just for drinks, but the musician played very nice bossa nova with a guitar and backtrac. He started around 20:30 and left 30 minutes later.!!!!!

Mariarca was the best! Had the best birthday thanks to her! The food was absolutely amazing and her service was formidable! Between her and the food I couldn’t recommend a better place! She made this birthday a really memorable one! 🙏🏼❤️

Grew up coming here since I was a teenager. All the negative reviews can go to the ninth realm. Food and especially mojito’s are godly. If you’re lucky you’ll hear him play the piano for you. My favorite place with my wife is at the bar. Long live Carli.

Been coming here for decades and no one can come close. This place didn’t chance their quality or service. Ignore the negative reviews, if you want quality come here. Me and my husband are back in San Juan and been coming here daily for dinner. Besides the food the music is romantic and inviting. There is an option to sit outside. This place has the best mojitos on the island. The owner is present which is why the quality has been on point ! Thank you for keeping this gem alive ! 🙏
