The Little Nell

The location has been amazing. The service has been pretty awful besides the valet team. We tried to sit at lounge before we had dinner. As soon as we sat down someone came and told us it was reserved at a first come first serve area. This happened twice. We stayed here for the little Nell experience and never could order the hot chocolate. We tried to sit at Ajax twice during our stay and was told they couldn’t serve us even though we found an empty table and said they were closing at 4pm. We should up a few minutes before and even offered to check out immediately so we could order the fries and a drink. Overall very underwhelmed and bummed we didn’t get the 5 star experience we had expected. Overall for what we spent was not worth the stay. Will try another location next time.

The BEST hot chocolate in the world! Every part of it- marshmallow, hot chocolate, whipped cream, down to the chocolate shavings was made IN HOUSE! The truffle fries were also delicious

We're local but came here for the spa and massages, both of which were outstanding! Sitting outside in a hot tub while it gently snows just feels like Aspen.

My wife and I stayed 7 nights at The Little Nell in the Benedict Suite and it was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality felt genuine and effortless. Concierge handled everything with ease—reservations, timing, recommendations, logistics—always responsive and proactive. Valet was consistently quick, organized, and friendly. Housekeeping/turndown was immaculate with great attention to detail, and the entire team made us feel taken care of without ever being overbearing. The food was outstanding across the board—whether dining on property or ordering in, everything was high quality and consistently delivered. Add in the prime location (including ski-in/ski-out access to Aspen Mountain) and you truly understand why this property has the reputation it does. If you want the definition of a 5-star experience in Aspen, this is it.

Thao is the best! She was our server at Element 47 and was so lovely. We came back everyday for hot chocolate and she was absolutely amazing.

The Little Nell Team is what truly makes the Little Nell a hidden gem. From the moment we walked in, the Little Nell staff greeted us with warm smiles and made check-in effortless. The room was immaculate — crisp sheets, plush pillows, and a lovely city/mountain view with private balcony made opening the curtains each morning a treat. Every amenity we needed was provided, great room technology, a well-stocked minibar, spa-style toiletries, plush robes/towels, fireplace, large table for family game nights/in room dining and most importantly the silence at night allowed us to sleep like babies! Element 47 in room dining was absolutely outstanding — fresh pastries, made-to-order eggs, unbelievable French toast and delicious coffee/latte’s. Ajax tavern kids meals were on point, great fries! The LN concierge team gave us thoughtful local tips / recommendation's that turned an ordinary day into a memorable one. A special thank you to Jonathan (GM) at the helm for clearly having an eye for detail. His staff is well trained in making sure everything you could possibly need is a simple text message away. The valet team - so many great guys, constantly greeting and opening the door, chauffeuring us around town and always making sure we were well hydrated! James and Steven for handling our luggage, thank you. The LN concierge team, for recommending activities and hikes to entertain the kids. Front desk, for periodically checking in on us to make sure our every request had been fulfilled. Housekeeping, truly flawless. Maintenance / engineering department miraculously keeps the hotel looking brand new and functioning. The new fitness center was designed and built perfectly for an on the road workout. Our family 4 pack will absolutely come back, and we wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city of Aspen who appreciates luxurious 5 star accommodations.

I had the pleasure of updating the wifi at this hotel. I walked through every single room. Absolutely incredible. The rooms, the ambiance, the views, the staff were all impeccable. A fantastic establishment.
