Friends on Ponce

I waited live for 25 Let me get in the back of the line to go to the restroom if you cross this place be careful that you do not need a bathroom at all are really rude. They’re very mean I give out five for free if I wouldnt get it for free I wouldn’t come back.

Went there March 14th with my homegirl after leaving the drunken unicorn. It was sooooo much fun we ended up staying there most of the night! The bartenders were super nice and gave me my second drink on the house! I had a frozen margarita 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 so so good and strong but in a yummy way! Great atmosphere everyone was friendly and it wasn’t super crowded, music was on point. We will definitely be back when the weather gets warmer 💕🥰💕

Stopped by last night with a group and the employees at the door immediately separated us and sent the “ladies” into a completely empty bar. They waited until we were apart from our group to tell the “men” they had to pay a cover to get in. I even asked on my way in the door why we were being separated from our group and did not get an answer from the staff, just a weird look. Felt very unsafe and scammy as there was absolutely no indication that it was “ladies night” until they wanted money from our friends. I would normally write this up as a simple miscommunication but the staff were unwelcoming and unwilling to explain the situation. Also, for an LGBTQ bar, they are not accommodating to trans people as our femme friend was separated from us and put into the “men” group just because of what her ID says. So we all left and didn’t spend a penny there.

My girlfriend and I went here yesterday, got two drinks and blacked out. I have a high tolerance for alcohol and know my limits. I have never fully blacked out before or been unable to completely not remeber my night after far more than just two drinks. We spent the entire day today violently hung over. Watched the bartender make the drinks and it never left our hands after. We were kinda keeping to ourselves so there was no one that could have slipped anything in when when we weren't looking. I rarely get hungover but this morning we were shaking from alcohol withdrawal, and they dont have any food available there which is dangerous if two drinks are gonna get you drunk enough to almost meet God.

Tho place is not what I used to be 14 years ago omg how u miss this place full of joyful people. Now I was there recently and the drinks were so bad I couldn’t even drink what I had they definitely need to do a soda gun and mix check cuz everything tasted expired. Now the ambiance was very off as well I think they were more set to be for an specific race vs a welcoming gay bar I did not enjoy it cuz the diversity is what that place used to be all about now it’s not. Sorry but I lost all interest on returning here unless they fix all these issues

Service is amazing

Had a nice time here, service was friendly and the vibe was great. Made some friends at the pool table and stayed until closing! I'm not from Atlanta and was just visiting, but I thought this was a great spot.
