Hôtel & Centre de Conférences Bismarck

I guess it worth 3.5 starts... Front desk staff are nice and friendly. Room is dated and floor is dusty. No sound proof. You can hear the next door talking and the pool clearly and the AC is loud. TV is not working. Why are there only 3 towels for a 4-people room? Poolside rooms are convenient if you want to spend a lot of time at the pool. Pool water is warm and nice. The 'kid pool' is really not that fun. Tons of kids just stay in the large pool (which is deep on one side). Some parents do not watch their kids... one girl was almost drown when we were there... The pool was supposed to close to kids at 10pm, but tons of kids where still out screaming at pool at 11pm... Bad management. Breakfast is standard for this price range. Breakfast room staff are extremely professional and proactive. Parking is easy. Housekeeping by request (the day before). I went back for a layover night myself. The room facing outside of the building is actually very quiet. 4 starts for that room.

Check in experience and customer service was okay. Our room, however, was not clean, dried food on the floor, dirty AC and windows, and the floors looked like they hadn’t been mopped. There was only 3 bath towels in the bathroom and there were 6 of us (4 small children). I went to the front desk to ask for more towels and were told they didn’t have any. I was also surprised to find out we had to request housekeeping. Had I known that at checkin I would have had them stop simply for towels and garbage. I understand they are renovating, but there is no excuse for having a dirty room and not enough towels for a full house. The pool: very fun for the kids, but needs quite a bit of attention. Starting with cleaning. Things don’t need to be new for them to be clean. The pool area was also constantly out of towels, even when we were the only guests in there. I saw several, SEVERAL, children slip and fall, hitting their head on the tile floor, even when not running. There has to be a safer solution to the flooring that would improve the slipping, whether that be cleaning the floor, (preventing slimy pool water), or redoing the floor to a less slippery finish. Lastly, our keys were constantly failing (even when kept away from cellphones).

Spacious and clean room! Maintenance team was quick to resolve issue with TV remote. Great location, will definitely stay here again!

Our stay here was absolutely amazing from start to finish! The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well taken care of, which made it easy to relax the entire trip. Every staff member we interacted with was incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely made us feel welcome like valued guests instead of just another reservation. The breakfast was outstanding with plenty of fresh, delicious options for everyone, and it was the perfect way to start each morning. The water park completely exceeded our expectations — clean, fun, and perfect for both kids and adults. It honestly became the highlight of our stay and gave us so many great family memories. You can really tell this place takes pride in creating a great experience for guests. Everything from the atmosphere to the service was top-notch. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and already can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing getaway!

Loved it! After two 10hr days of traveling my kids needed to get their energy out, and this place was perfect! Not just for them, but for me too, at Nickels! The lady at the desk was amazingly helpful, considering we just walked in and got a room. It's super convenient to find off I94. Lots of things around the hotel to do, and places to eat and shop.

I don’t even wanna put 1 star because as soon as we walked in there were stains on all of our beds and the curtains had white blotches. we took a video and there was a spider under the sheet, and on top of that my best friends mom had a suit and their tv didn’t even work. We drove all the way from Minnesota to sleep in a dirty room? Only person that helped us out was Cory. So props to you Cory. All Cory did was fix our tv, “he tried”. We’ve been waiting on our sheets for 7 hours now. DONT COME HERE. I wish I could put zero but I can’t☹️

If I could give this hotel a 0 I would . My friend and I were waiting to go sit in the hot tub but we both dont appreciate children . So we waited till the correct time. As soon as we walked in they closed the place . Apparently the signs are old and outdated as is the rest of the hotel. The lady was also disrespectful she let the kids play for an hour longer which is why we didnt come out till later. Very dissatisfied.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The service was very friendly and prompt. I highly recommend staying there, you won’t be disappointed.

I just want to take a moment to recognize the incredible turnaround happening at the Bismarck Hotel & Conference Center. Over the past few years, this property has gone through several changes, and like many people, I wasn’t sure what direction it would go. But recently, it’s been taken over and ran by a local operator Josh Churchillwith real experience running hotels—and it shows. What truly stands out isn’t just the improvements and remodeling happening throughout the building (which are already making a big difference), but the way they’re showing up for the community. After a devastating fire impacted local residents, they stepped up and offered free rooms to those who were displaced. That kind of compassion and leadership is something you don’t see every day. It’s clear this isn’t just another business—it’s someone investing back into the community and doing things the right way. The updates, the management, and especially the heart behind it all deserve recognition. If you’re looking for a place in Bismarck, I’d absolutely recommend giving them a chance and seeing the changes for yourself.

What an unorganized mess. Individuals working the front desk don’t have an ounce of customer service skills, are very unorganized and act like hospitality isn’t the main task in their jobs. Upon arrival they sent us to a queen room even though we booked a king. Went back to the front desk after walking through the maze to be met with there’s nothing they can do. After some back and forth we got the king room. After moving into the king room, the AC didn’t work. The maintenance worker got it going, and we were good to go. The next day we were out of towels, so we called to the front desk and spoke with a very rude employee named Ashley, who told me “we are understaffed” and to go find my own towels and hung up on me. That solidified the poor review for me. I spoke with a manager named Josh(?) shortly after and that was honestly the only highlight of the stay (next to the maintenance personnel, they were great). Josh seemed to actually care about his job and taking care of guests, unlike Ashley. I hope management truly values what Josh brings to the table, because it seems like he’s solely trying to hold this place together. At the end of the day, this place is great if you just need a place to stay, however if you value maid service, fresh towels, trash not sitting outside every room, and most importantly hospitality, then I’d suggest to stay elsewhere.

By far the WORST hotel i have ever stayed in. Look at photos to read reviews i have left. We stayed Friday night, May 1st to Saturday May 2nd. The woman (im being nice) that was working overnights should 100% be fired. We would NEVER let someone that treated our customers like this work for our business. Zero common sense and very rude. She definitely seald the deal on this review.
