Dakota OutRight

Dakota OutRight is the volunteer LGBTQIA2S+ organisation for the Bismarck-Mandan area and runs almost every queer event in the city, including Capitol City Pride each June on the State Capitol grounds. It says it has worked since 2004 and grew out of an earlier group, Dakota Good Friends. There's no drop-in centre. Its public Google calendar lists a book club, Queerly Reading, on the third Sunday of the month at 6:30 PM, and board meetings at The Hub, 321 South 1st Street; in 2026 it added monthly socials such as roller skating and a coffee meet-up.
