Upstate Connection Plays Miles Davis

The Rochester&Buffalo jazz connection has been vibrant since the 1950s, bringing together some of Western New York’s finest musicians. This special evening celebrates that long-standing musical bond through the timeless and groundbreaking music of Miles Davis.
Eastman School of Music faculty Clay Jenkins, Bob Sneider, and Jeff Campbell join Buffalo drummer John Bacon to explore the sound, spirit, and innovation of one of jazz’s most influential artists. Expect an exciting night of Miles Davis classics, deep grooves, lyrical improvisation, and inspired interplay from four exceptional musicians.
