Visiting Chicago with a group of seven plus a baby, I chose this restraunt because it was close to our hotel, and not in the thick of busy down town Saturday night dining. We dined outside on the delightful patio, which was reminiscent of visiting a far away place with its open to sky arbor and loosely strung lights...romantic with nice music that was just a touch too loud for my taste, but later was not an issue. All of us ordered something different, and each dish was superb!. Every dish arrived to table hot and fresh. Pasta was perfect and the salmon salad was fabulous. Table bread was a bit dry for me, but most at our table ate it without complaint. Service the entire night was impeccable. I will dream about it until my next visit to Chicago!!! Delightful!!
Last week my friend and I had a reservation on a Friday night. The atmosphere was great if you were on a date due to the lighting. Service was top notch, no need to get water refills or bread. The bruschetta was really good! They were able to customize off menu items which was great because I was craving a chicken parm pasta. Only thing was, the bar may get a bit rowdy depending on the date you go.(We went on Oct. 30, before Halloween) This is your place to go if you want a romantic date with your better half!
Love this place for a quick bite (we live next door). They definitely improved their menu from when they just started (back then everything was greasy as can be). They just need to have someone professional come in and assess their bar speaker system. Everything sounds tinny and horrible when you sit in the booths. I've noticed it degrade the last few times I've been there over last 6 months. It is worth having someone come in and look at this professionally as this destroys an otherwise perfect experience. And please no Luther Vandross. Stick to Sinatra or something more fun.
its just okay, nothing exceptional here, just standard fare Italian food. This is close to where I work, so I have been here a few times with coworkers. I will go back with them if they so choose, but I will more than likely to not be the one who wants to go here. The service was good.
This place has incredible pasta and a delicious meat sauce, the salads are always fresh , they use real Parmesan cheese to top salads and dishes. The staff is impeccable and their outdoor dining is quaint.
