Best Western Plus Wausau Tower Inn

We checked in with Brandi and I already knew we were gonna enjoy our stay! The property itself was well maintained and the room was really clean comfortable! We will definitely be back anytime we are in the area!

Stayed here for 1 night. My room was a double queen. The room was nice, updated, and clean. They do have a bar that serves pizza and beer. I'm not sure if they have wine and spirits. They also have a pretty decent free breakfast. The hotel is nice. I visited my friend here a few years ago and he had a king suite and it was super nice. I highly recommend this hotel for short or long stays. The staff were all friendly and inviting.

I was very surprised at how well the rehab was done. The room was very well done, the staff was amazing, and the location is great. It's well with the cost, a great value.

Honestly don't know what the other reviews are talking about but my stay was amazing the food was great better then other hotels for sure and the bar atmosphere was definitely nice

This hotel feels very old and not well maintained. The room was not clean — the carpet was very dirty and the bathroom clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. The hotel is not updated at all, which was disappointing. There was also confusion about pet policies. It was not mentioned anywhere that king rooms are supposedly not pet-friendly, even though I paid extra specifically for a king room. After insisting and after the front desk spoke with the manager, I was finally given the room I booked, but it shouldn’t have required that effort. There was no hairdryer in the room, which is a basic amenity. Breakfast was fine — nothing special — but the coffee was actually good, and the staff at breakfast were older but friendly. Overall, this hotel needs serious updates and better cleaning standards. I wouldn’t stay here again unless improvements are made.

Hotel was fine - about what you'd expect for a Best Western off the highway in a small midwestern city. Rooms were OK - nothing bad about them at all, but just OK. Location is great right off the highway and short 8 minute drive or so to downtown Wausau

Overall great experience. This was probably one of the most unique hotels I've stayed at. Also they serve amazing breakfast .
