My husband and I stayed there for our 10th anniversary April 21'st. It's a beautiful hotel with a nice art collection, but given the price there were a few issues with service. I booked the room and the next day received an email asking basic questions like if it was a special occasion, etc. I replied saying my husband and I were staying to celebrate our 10th anniversary. Then the day before our stay I received a text from the Itinerary Designer asking what time we would be arriving and if there should be any other names on the reservation. I replied it would be my husband David and me, and we planned to arrive around 1:00-1:30. They replied that would be fine, but check-in is at 3:00 and early access is based on availability. Their website however says there isn't a check-in time, just whenever the room has been cleaned and prepared, and most guests check out in the early afternoon. they also asked in the text if we had any food allergies. (Note you will be asked this question as many times as if you were in a hospital being asked about drug allergies) but I get being cautious with how litigious people are. I then received a text the morning of our stay asking what time we would be arriving. I replied around 1:30, and they replied "We look forward to seeing you this afternoon." We arrived right around 1:30 and left our car with the valet, who was extremely nice and welcoming, but note valet is your only parking option and it's $55 per day. Went to check-in and were warmly greeted and wished happy anniversary, but told our room wasn't ready yet. They said it usually takes about 30 minutes for housekeeping to get the room prepared but they'd ask them to get it ready ASAP. Went to the bar and had a drink and a snack, then walked around looking at the hotel and art collection. After an hour since we arrived went back to check-in to see if our room was ready. They were helping someone else so sat down to wait. They were telling the guest checking in about where their room, the pool, gym, etc. were. After he finished he spotted us and said he'd check on our room. He quickly returned and handed me our room key card, but didn't even tell us our room number. Went to our room and they had chocolate covered strawberries, champagne, and a happy anniversary card waiting for us, which was very nice. However, the card was written to Mr. and Mrs., and we're very clearly Mr. and Mr. (Carl "Jacob" and David) Not a big deal to me, but I know it would be to some people. I pointed this out when they texted asking how we were enjoying our stay and were extremely apologetic, then followed up with an email after our stay which I appreciated. Had dinner in the restaurant there which was very good, but stood at the maitre d' stand at least 5-6 min. while the person there was on the phone I think taking a reservation. Our waiter brought us a complimentary glass of champagne and desert. The waiter did bring us a desert menu at the end of our meal and we didn't order anything, so I don't know if they'd have comped whatever we ordered... He also said he'd bought us the champagne and desert. Don't know if it's typical the waiter has to pay for those items, but when celebrating occasions at other restaurants have never had the server say they bought the comped champagne or desert. Went back down to the bar later where they were supposed to be having live music. Asked a couple workers where the music would be and they didn't know. Finally spotted a mic set up in the corner of the room. Music started about 30 min after the posted time on the website. Unfortunately the people in the bar were so noisy we couldn't really hear the music. so decided to go take a dip in the hot tub. Discovered the hot tub and pool closes at 8:00 pm and it was 7:55. So, went back to the room and watched a movie. Overall a beautiful hotel, but don't think I'd stay there again given the issues, early pool area closing time, and price.

When you first pull up to this amazing hotel, it almost looks like an office building—which can be a little surprising at first. But the moment you arrive, everything changes. You’re immediately greeted by an incredible staff. The valet is attentive, friendly, and respectful...setting the tone right away. From the second you walk through the doors, you’re blown away. The décor is absolutely stunning, and the staff makes you feel taken care of from start to finish. And the restaurant...wow. The chefs, servers, hostesses, and bartenders are all exceptional. This is true five-star, Michelin-level service. You genuinely feel like royalty the entire time you’re there. The food is worth every penny, and each visit has been an amazing experience. This was our second time, and we will definitely be back. Honestly, leaving is the hardest part. I always feel a little sad walking out. The managers, chefs, and staff all make a point to check on you, making you feel like the most important person in the room.

Place is semi fab but I never want to wait 30+ minutes for a cocktail at “Club Bowie”. & I’m not popping in for the evening, I’m a hotel guest… this place needs a private intimate hotel guest bar. Searching the room for our tv remote and finding other guest socks in our bed was disgusting… 🤮🤮🤮

We had an early Mother’s Day Tea time at the B&H…Staff was amazing…and my wife was honored greatly.

Probably one of our favorite hotels we’ve stayed in recently. The chocolate croissant is a game changer.
