Crystal and Mick are some of the most amazing and genuine people I’ve ever met. They both were the biggest help when I was stuck in Galesburg in the middle of the night due to severe storms. They made me feel very welcome and eased any stress during an uncertain and scary time. The Holiday Inn Express & Suites is so lucky to have both of them as employees. I seriously can’t say enough good things about them and my stay at the hotel!

Crystal & Mick helped my family during an emergency and went ABOVE & BEYOND their duties to ensure my family was safe during an uncertain time following a tornado. They are awesome employees and even better people. Holiday Inn/IHG Hotels and Resorts are blessed to have them - as they are the best professionals the hospitality industry has to offer. I wish I could give them more than a 5 star review. 🐐🐐

Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Galesburg. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Claire, was helping with breakfast and was a delight to talk too and helpful!

Our train was stuck in Galesburg due to bad storms tonight and the ladies that were working the late shift were amazing! Our stressful night was made better when Crystal came to pick us up at the station to bring us to the hotel at 1am. She was very friendly and chatted with us about our situation. Then we got to the hotel and Mick was so friendly and accommodating to our situation. She made sure we were taken care of and that we got a good night's rest. Would definitely recommend this hotel and hopefully you get to meet these fabulous ladies!

We just wrapped up our fourth year staying at the Holiday Inn Express Galesburg, and once again, it did not disappoint! Every stay here has been consistently comfortable, with clean, cozy rooms that make it easy to relax after a full day. The location is perfect, and you really can’t beat the value for the price. One of the highlights every time is the breakfast—it’s always fresh, well-stocked, and honestly better than most hotel breakfasts out there! A special shoutout to the amazing staff who made this visit extra enjoyable. Evan at the front desk was a total breath of fresh air—so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. And Makenna and Claire at breakfast were absolute sweethearts—kind, helpful, and always making sure everything was just right. Overall, this hotel continues to be our go-to when we’re in Galesburg, and we’re already looking forward to our next stay!
