It was a meh experience

I haven’t been here for years, but I was contemplating on going. But when I went the last time, it was awesome. The atmosphere the drinks was just perfect.

The place and the vibe are great, but it’s honestly disappointing that a venue centered around music has such poor sound quality. The audio has almost no bass, and the music just doesn’t hit the way it should. It’s unfair to both the customers who come for the music and the DJs performing. If the outdoor setup can’t provide good sound, it would make much more sense to move the event indoors, where the audio can actually do the music justice.

Very disappointing experience at The Bungalow Huntington Beach. My wife and I were there to enjoy an evening out, have a few drinks, and dance. During the evening, another guest made a complaint involving my wife. While I understand that management has a responsibility to take guest concerns seriously, we were extremely disappointed by how the situation was handled. We were asked to leave without any meaningful effort to understand what had happened or hear our side of the story. It felt as though an accusation alone was enough to justify removing us from the venue. We were left feeling embarrassed, unfairly judged, and unwelcome. A good establishment should strive to treat all guests with fairness and respect while investigating concerns. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. Based on how this situation was handled, I cannot recommend this venue.

This establishment is a class-act, owned and managed by treasures. I live across the street and could not be more grateful for such a wonderful neighbor.

Very unfortunate that I have to write a negative review because I used to love coming here with friends. However this past weekend when I went I had a bad experience with the staff and management. I was there with 4 other friends and we were there for about an hour and wanted to stop by the bathroom. As we got in the line there were 3 workers that came up to me and said I had to leave and when I asked why they wouldn’t give me a reason. I continuously asked what happened and slowly made my way to the exit, more and more confused by the lack of information. All they said was “you were rude to an employee” to which I said “oh sorry, to who?” (because I didn’t talk to any employee my time there) and they said “we can’t say”… As I’m standing outside waiting for my friends to join me, I asked all the workers if they can tell me why I was being taken out and what happened yet no one knew but those 3 people who made me leave. Multiple people waiting in line to get inside asked me what happened, when I told them they got confused as well and left because they didn’t want to risk getting kicked out too. Management called the Pacific City security to escort me and my friends out and when I asked why, yet again, they had no idea the reason. I called the next day to speak with management privately about this situation and gain better understanding but they would not speak with me. I’m not mad that we left but I am annoyed that I was targeted to leave the bar with no valid reason.
