Sunset Park

Beautiful park. Many things to do. Renaissance fair in the beginning of October.

Came on a Sunday morning to run RC boats at the designated RC boat running area and had one of my boats get stuck on fishing line about 30feet out, I’ve tried my recovery craft and no luck because of the fishing line holding my boat in place. So I went into the office to ask for assistance as one of the park employees told me that they would assist if I asked and it wasn’t entirely uncommon to need help recovering a boat, anyway smaller guy named Fidel(not sure how to spell it) was in the office and I asked if he could assist, he basically told me to kick rocks and that he would not help me. Not happy at all. I have to pay for a membership/ insurance to be allowed to use my boats at this park and to be treated like that when I kindly ask for assistance is absurd. Will be calling to make a formal complaint on Monday
