We actually used the property across the street for a wedding and they were fabulous ashley the manager at compass rose was so very helpful and day of jeff and Dakota were as well ! Would recommend them for any large function, party, reunion, wedding etc. Great people great facility! Bud and Lois garcia

Compass Rose Lodge was one of those places that completely exceeded my expectations. Tucked away in Huntsville, it feels like a hidden gem that somehow manages to be both peaceful and memorable at the same time. The property is beautifully maintained, the rooms are comfortable and thoughtfully designed, and the entire experience feels more personal than staying at a typical hotel. From the moment we arrived, it was obvious that a lot of care has gone into every detail. One of the things that really sets this place apart is the atmosphere. The views of the mountains and surrounding area are incredible, especially in the evening. If you're someone who enjoys getting away from the noise and busyness of everyday life, this is the kind of place where you can actually relax. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seemed to care that guests had a great experience. It's rare to find a place that feels both professional and personal at the same time. Whether you're visiting for a romantic getaway, a weekend adventure in Ogden Valley, or just looking for a unique place to stay, Compass Rose Lodge is absolutely worth it. I've stayed in plenty of hotels over the years, and this is one of the few places that I found myself telling friends about afterward. We'll definitely be back.

My husband and I got married across the street at the Mercantile. We stayed in separate rooms the night before and then together the night of our wedding. The staff was amazing and SO kind. They wrote us a nice congratulations letter and even changed the sheets of the Kind suite for our wedding night. Absolutely everything was perfect!!! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The decor of the entire property is next to none! Coffee from the shop downstairs was excellent! And, they have an observatory on sight. We took the star tour with Scott, who was incredible and we highly recommend. Not a single thing could have been better. Honestly worth every single penny we spent and in comparison, to other places, was not a lot. Our experience was "out of this world", we cannot express how amazing everything was. If you are thinking of staying here, DO IT! We are already planning on celebrating our first anniversary here where it all started. From the booking process to checking out...top tier experience. There are not enough stars we could give!!!
