Hôtel Hells Canyon Grand

I’m here for work training and recently got denied shuttle service. Not because I but because someone else took advantage of the service. Now Seaport guest cannot use the shuttle service unless you’re going to the airport. A lot of us staying on this side (seaport) left our homes with no vehicles and are here 4-6 weeks. A lot of us need shuttle services to get groceries but we cannot use it any more. This is discrimination! We all suffer for the actions of one person. Tonight they are having a whole concert in venue that’s in the middle of the hotel smh ridiculous

Kids menu in restaurant served a grilled cheese with Muenster, with the outside completely covered in melted cheese. No 5 year old would eat that. Pool had tubes and cleaning equipment in it, which we had to pull out so our kids would not get tangled in it. Pool area had piles of cigarette butts, hot tub and pool were filled with debris, including a lot of dead earth worms at the bottom. Note we were told the pool was open. Would not recommend, even for a budget traveler.

Good clean room but a bit spendy for the room size

Hotel was really nice and clean. Convenient location. The only downfall is the walls are paper thin. You hear everything, and I mean everything that happens in the rooms next to you. I even heard my neighbor farting. Dude needs to take some Beano or something.

I showed up with my grandaughters Valentines day for a night of supposed play in the indoor pool. Found out that the pool is in the strip mall at the public fitness center. After waiting almost an hour to find out how guests do the pool, I was told they were only open on Tuesday. Went back to the hotel and talked to manager, was told they weren't supposed to do that. Asked about the false advertising of an indoor pool and was told since they owned that property they felt it was good enough. Remember this is not a cheap hotel. Never raised my voice but kept asking questions and the manger told me over the phone, because she wasn't on property, that it was Saturday and I was ruining her Valentines day. Then complained I wouldn't listen to her explaination of them owning the property so advertising an indoor pool at the hotel was OK. Then the manager hung up on me. Staff called her from front desk and I think they were a little they were shocked she hung up. Will never go back and if you want the hotel services to be at the hotel and not the strip mall across the way, dont do it.

Parents NO CONTINENTAL Breakfast. NO POOL, unless you want go go across the street, seasonal only. Rooms SMELLED horrible. Several of our group moved rooms, we asked for spray, the cleaning lady was wonderful. Management wouldn't budge on Breakfast even after showing where it was advertised. Don't bother here it wasn't worth the headache and kids being upset about no pool.

We had a group lunch in their restaurant. Overall the food was good if you coulg get past the brown lettuce and cold soup. Wait staff was outstanding. Thank you. Merriweathers is usually a great place to eat. Great wait staff. Decent portion size and most items are reasonably priced. We didn't have a room in the motel this time but it was a great place to stay last Fall.

Would not stay here again. I was in town with my wife and kids for the weekend. After checking in we discovered what appeared to be dog hair all over one of the beds. There was trash left in the room (beer cans). The gentleman at the front desk did offer to switch rooms, but we opted for clean sheets. I am now regretting not switching rooms as my son has broken out with some sort of rash.
