Casa Munras Garden Hotel & Spa

Great hotel. Family friendly and quiet. Pool is heated. Short walk to beach and wharf. Parking does get full, so you may have to park away from your room but still on the property. Staff is very friendly. No hesitation to stay here again.

We stayed here while visiting Monterey, the aquarium, whale watching tours, and Big Sur. The location was fantastic, the rooms were comfortable, and the staff was always welcoming. After long days of exploring, it was nice coming back to a quiet and relaxing hotel. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area.

Affordable, clean hotel with everything you want in the most perfect Monterey location. Pool was heated and clean, and very much enjoyed by the family.

We had stayed here on a family vacation for a night and my wife and sister used the pool area. We had a guest impersonate lifeguard and threatened to call cops on them. Knowing they overstayed in the pool area by 10 mins, they stepped out. But they creepy guy was still following them and pretended to call cops. Casa Munras staff have been helpful in finding out who the guest was and promised they will take up the matter serous and address it. there had been another instance with the same guest as stated by manager. Casa Munras - I will withdraw my review if you let me know what action was taken against him. My family is still pretty shaken up.

Really easy to get to, beautifully kept, this is the nicest hotel we have stayed at on our American adventure. The staff are attentive and caring and the rooms are clean and well presented. It feels like home already. We will both be sad to leave here, but the road awaits. Next stop Santa Barbara and Big Sur

I have stayed here several times over the years and enjoy every time. The linens are always clean and fresh smelling. The front desk is always helpful and the restaurant has great food. Great place to stay!

Tried to book this hotel and got a quote from an employee over the phone, I didn't get their name but they were very kind and helpful. Let them know I would discuss with my partner and then called back later to book. The rate I was being told now was over $200 more than I was just told. I asked them why this price was so different than the one I had gotten 2 hours earlier, and if there was a way to honor that. The person I was now speaking to on the phone was apparently the manager and truly could not care less about customer service. He spoke very condescendingly to me and said "I don't know where you got those numbers from, but these are our rates." I said I got them from your employee at your hotel... which I already told you... He did nothing to help the situation and kept on being careless and condescending. Glad I didn't book earlier before learning what their take on hospitality is!

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of numerous restaurants and shops. The beds are true queen-size and very comfortable. Upon entering, we noticed the room smelled lovely and was clean. We booked a standard double queen and the room was spacious. The front desk staff was friendly, making the check-in process smooth. Additionally, the Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and being able to cast streaming services from our phones was convenient and nice added bonus. The pool is small but the area is well maintained.

Nice, quietly located rooms. Comfortable bed and good shower/bath.
