Complaint Regarding Housekeeping – Jenny I am extremely disappointed with the level of service I received from Jenny, a member of the housekeeping staff. I was in my room without any toilet paper and needed to use the restroom, so I contacted housekeeping for assistance. When Jenny arrived, she immediately asked me, “What is your problem?” despite showing up without any toilet paper. I explained again what I needed, and rather than being prepared to assist, she had to search through multiple housekeeping carts before finally finding some. When I asked for her name, her response was unnecessarily confrontational. Instead of simply providing her name, she asked for mine in a sarcastic manner. I fail to understand why my name was necessary when the request was already associated with my room number. If Jenny is the head of housekeeping, she should be ensuring that basic necessities such as toilet paper are properly stocked and that her staff are prepared to respond professionally when guests request assistance. Being spoken to rudely and treated as though I was inconveniencing her over such a basic request is completely unacceptable. I expect better customer service and professionalism from hotel staff, especially someone in a supervisory housekeeping position. This interaction was unnecessary, unprofessional, and left a very poor impression.

Showed up last night with a reservation in hand. And they said they had no room for us. They were negative one room. How the hell does that happen? When you have a paid for reservation and they simply don't have a room!

Warning for anyone considering the Fairfield by Marriott in Moses Lake. Our group booked 17 rooms for a youth hockey tournament. Before using the lobby to socialize, we asked for permission and were given it. Staff even provided games for our group. Everything was fine until an 11:00 PM shift change, when a new front desk agent aggressively told us to disperse. We complied and everyone returned to their rooms. Later that night, the agent complained that some of the kids were talking in one of the rooms. The room was occupied solely by minors, and the hotel had been informed at check-in which rooms were occupied by minors and that I was the responsible adult for those rooms. Instead of contacting me, the front desk employee entered the minors' room at approximately 2:00 AM. He left and returned a few minutes later, then entered the room again. The kids were understandably upset by the situation. Following that incident, the minors' room received repeated late-night phone calls. The following night, two adult rooms in our group also received hang-up calls around 2:00 AM. Over the following weeks, I escalated my concerns through hotel management, The Hotel Group leadership, and Marriott. Despite multiple reviews, I was never provided with a clear explanation of the electronic lock records, the phone activity, or the policy that justified entering a room occupied solely by minors without first contacting the responsible adult. This experience has left me with serious concerns about how this situation was handled. Every hotel has to deal with noise complaints from time to time, but I believe there are better ways to address them than what occurred here. If you're travelling with children, sports teams, or youth groups, I'd encourage you to carefully consider your accommodation options before booking this property.
