Join us on Thursday, August 20th for a live show full of raw, punk sounds coming from Lane Changer & Don't Let's Start! Lane Changer is so excited to be back at the Unicorn bar and promises to rock you wild. If you like Iggy Pop and or Patti Smith you will love lane Changers all originals tunes influenced by these rock goddesses. Each song is a unique work of art drawing on the raw absurdity of life contrasted by the deep meanings found in any given word. Elizabeth Sofro, songwriter and lead vocalist will deliver an unforgettable electric, gritty, high energy performance straight from the heart. Mathew Smith on bass brings (funk fueled unique driving bass lines you won’t forget ), Jeremey Donelson on Guitar delivers ( guitar solos you never want to end). Hubert Dulay on Guitar kicks out (complicated gritty filled riffs inspired from an eclectic mix genres). Travis shook on drums bring (spasticity combined with free form jazz inspired drums beats) 100 percent sure to bring an unforgettable night. Don’t Let’s Start formed with one intention….. to have fun playing excellent tunes honoring the wit, whimsy and confounding music of They Might Be Giants. Fun is the key word here. Fun for You! Members: Andrew was born playing drums ( a wild birth) and plays in numerous bands, including The Fascinating Chimera Project. Does not miss a beat. Liam Singer delivers vocals while playing either keys or accordion, and first became a fan of They Might be Giants in middle school. With roots deep in classical music, he knows from where he playeth. Jack McNutt on guitar can….. and we don’t say this lightly …. really wail. His solos will have you mind boggled and his rhythms will shake your booty. Rebecca Singer on bass is proof it’s never too late.
