on friday 6/19, a visibly intoxicated employee fought with and acted incredibly aggressively towards multiple patrons who were attempting to assist a disabled trans customer after a minor medical event. this staff member (cis-looking white fem with blonde hair in a ponytail) called emergency services against the disabled person's wishes- which we later learned was legally required, but she didn't bother to explain this to us, simply yelled and argued and insulted those trying to help, doing nothing to diffuse the situation. (we don't know if she was on the clock, but her behavior was inappropriate either way.) at the same time, she also insinuated that the disabled person's medical situation was being faked, stating "it's funny that her seizures stopped the second i dialed 911." what a weird thing to say. after exiting the bar and trying to figure out our next steps getting home knowing there would be emergency services and possibly police showing up soon, and while also trying to support each other and calm down after such a distressing situation, another staff member was sent outside to harass and record us for several minutes as "proof" of our misconduct. multiple people, QUEER patrons, were told by staff they'd been trespassed from the business, including my best friend who has been a loyal customer here for YEARS, and is deeply disappointed by this turn of events. maybe this shouldn't be a surprise, as the owners are a straight couple. it is obvious now that this place has no interest in actually being a safe space for the marginalized. also, the main bar area has multiple pride flags hanging from the ceiling, including a bear pride flag, but suspiciously no lesbian flag. interesting.

Great drinks, super friendly bartenders. The tater tots are perfectly crispy every time and the burgers are great, compliments to the chef. The karaoke night does get way too loud, like not a normal level of loudness for a bar, it goes beyond that.
