À propos de ce lieu Alliance For Full Acceptance (AFFA)

The Alliance For Full Acceptance (AFFA) is the Charleston area's main LGBTQ+ advocacy and education nonprofit, founded in 1998. Its office is at 3265 N Carolina Ave, Suite 202, in the same building as the We Are Family community centre and Charleston Pride. Older listings that give 1801 Reynolds Ave, the former Equality Hub, are out of date. AFFA runs advocacy, training and school-safety work, keeps an online resource hub, and posts a community calendar that includes nights at Bar Polari. For a visitor, it's the place to ask about local LGBTQ+ services. Phone 843-883-0343.

AFFA is such a wonderful organization. They do so much to uplift our Charleston LGBTQ+ community and their social events and volunteer opportunities are a great way to get connected with other Queer people and make friends. Their director, Chase Glenn, is a fierce advocate and all around amazing guy.

A fantasy organization! Fighting for equality and tirelessly working in the trenches to educate the next generation. After spending time with the folks at AFFA, those letters stand the Alliance of Friends and Family
