At random a lady opened my door while me and my son were sleeping in the bed to tell me she needed to switch out the sofa chair in my room. I was halfway asleep and was so confused as to why that would be so important all of a sudden out of the blue. Shortly after, a couple of strangers were screaming the name Robin in front of my door. Which completely woke me out of my sleep.

I booked through Hotels.com non refundable thought it was a done deal. We planned on attending our function and check in late at night. I got a call at 7pm that they did not have any rooms. I did not understand! My room was bought and paid for. If I check in or not THEY GOT THEIR MONEY. This caused me having to book another room last minute. Anxiety that me and my family would have to sleep in our car for the night in a town we are not from! I don’t understand how they can cancel me day of but if I tried canceling the day of I would still be charged! Hotels.com stated they would refund my money plus give me hotel.com credit for the difference in prices. I looked at the reviews to see if this had happened to anyone else. From the looks of it we may have dodged a bullet. Roach infested, horrible customer service only to get a generic response that you will use my feedback to improve. Obviously nothing has been improved. I can just hope that future customers read the reviews before booking! Like I should have done! Lesson learned!

Paper thin walls couldn’t sleep well because you literally can hear people talking walking on the side of you beneath you and over head. Cheaply built newer hotel. If you’re a heavy sleeper I say go for it if not save your money and go elsewhere.! So we had to actually move because I lost a nights sleep and the hotel didn’t want to do anything about the noise level. I called the 800 number and they gave me free two night stay at any of there other hotels.

If I could give zero stars that’s what this place would receive. Go somewhere else. Elevators broken. This is not disclosed till check in. At which time you can not cancel or change your reservation anymore. I’m pregnant. They put me on the third floor. Nice man at check in said he’d get me moved to the first. I Had my fiance carry my suitcase up the stairs. But he had to leave after 2 days. Before leaving he called down to check the status of me being moved down and the rude lady had the audacity to say that they can’t help that the elevators broken and it’s my problem and she can’t move me. Drawers in kitchen were broken. Not even attached. Curtains had brown stains on them. There was a razor blade and bunch of hair in the sink drain that you can visibly see why the water wasn’t draining. Unsavory people living there. One man likes to confront people outside and threaten them. Bed was like an actual air mattress. Cheap thin sheets and cover. Room smelled like fish. Room floors would also be slippery and wet with humidity everyday. 10 out of 10 will not stay again. Wish I’d never wasted the money here.

The first room I was checked in door wouldn't latch when you closed the door meaning anyone could just walk into your room. I was checked into another room which had mold in it which is a health hazard. There furniture is dated. Just go ahead and put $20 more per night and go stay somewhere else........ I picked here cause I was traveling for work....

Absolutely Unacceptable – My Belongings Were Thrown Away While I Was Away I booked a stay at WoodSpring Suites at 6801 K Avenue from February 7th–9th. I wasn’t expecting luxury — just a clean, safe room with working AC. Unfortunately, the hotel couldn’t even meet those basic expectations. On February 8th, I left briefly to buy items to celebrate the Super Bowl and a birthday. When I returned, every single one of my belongings was gone. Nothing was left in the room. Naturally, I thought I had been robbed and immediately contacted the police and the front desk. I later learned that the hotel system had mistakenly marked my room as vacant, and housekeeping entered and threw away all of my possessions. The general manager admitted this was the hotel’s error, yet I was told it could take weeks — or longer — to resolve, if it’s resolved at all. I’ve only been refunded for the room, but the value of my lost items exceeds $800, which is nowhere near justified compensation. This incident ruined what was supposed to be a special day, and I have never experienced anything like this in all my years of staying in hotels. I am writing this public complaint in hopes that management will correct this issue and fully compensate me for my lost belongings. While they have acknowledged that this was their error and completely unacceptable, I am sharing this experience both to seek accountability and to warn others of what happened to me. No guest should ever have their personal property discarded due to a hotel’s mistake, and I hope this review prompts proper resolution and prevents this from happening to anyone else. I strongly advise anyone considering this location to avoid it. If you’re set on staying at a WoodSpring Suites, I recommend the McKinney location instead — the service and experience there are far better than what I received here.

The young lady at the front desk is awesome and very polite.... She definitely deserves a raise...

Terrible please don't let them rent room 221 to you infested with roaches very dirty hallways as well as very stinky nasty elevator roaches crawling everywhere i would spend my money elsewhere as sell as manager jasmine and her team are very unprofessional they need to hire a better manager that cares about there job
