Sonoma County Pride
À propos de cet événement
Sonoma County Pride is the county's main Pride weekend, held in downtown Santa Rosa on the first weekend of June. It's run by the volunteer non-profit Sonoma County Pride. Its roots go back to a 1987 picnic at Spring Lake, and the parade has been going for nearly four decades; KTVU put the 2025 crowd at around 20,000.
The Saturday parade runs along Fourth Street at 11am and ends in a free festival in Old Courthouse Square until 5pm. Around it there's a flag raising at the start of June, a trans rights rally on the Friday and afterparties in downtown bars. In 2026 the parade and festival were on Saturday 6 June (weekend 5 to 7 June), with the theme "Pride & True".
A save-the-date for 4 to 6 June 2027 is circulating on event listings, which fits the first-weekend pattern, but check sonomacountypride.org for the official programme before you book.
The same group runs a free monthly Pride brunch at Beer Baron (first Sunday, 11am). Russian River Pride in Guerneville, half an hour west, is a separate event in September.
