À propos de ce lieu People's Park

People's Park sits on a peninsula on Spokane's west side where Latah (Hangman) Creek meets the Spokane River, below the High Bridge. It is Spokane's best-known clothing-optional spot and has a long-standing reputation as a gay cruising area, documented across cruising directories and local histories. It is an unofficial, informal use of a public park: activity is seasonal and concentrated along the wooded riverbank trails. As it is public land, Washington's public-indecency and lewd-conduct laws apply, and discretion is advised. Washington State broadly protects LGBTQ+ people, but users should exercise standard personal-safety precautions, especially after dark.

A nice park with trails to hike and river access for fishing.

Another Beautiful park! The Centennial trail runs through the park. Free parking. Some shady parts where you may see some weird people. Possibly homeless people. You can go hiking, biking, walking, dog walking, bird watching and kayaking. This is a fairly easy trail. It’s enjoyable.

Lots of folks out on the trail enjoying sunshine. Felt safe and populated enough while still getting out and enjoying time on the centennial trail. I’ll be back!

Beautiful place... Easy trails, a decent amount of wildlife even amongst fire damage & dry conditions.
