Stroudsmoor Country Inn

Beds, toilet needs an upgrade but everything else is love it. The service at breakfast was excellent.The ladies were friendly and attentive . We were staying at the cottages.

5 stars for cleanliness, however, the mattress wasn’t comfortable. It was worn and needs replacing. I don’t mind old fashioned furniture, but I care about cleanliness and the comfort of the bed I’m paying to sleep in for the night. Service at breakfast was excellent.

We have been going since the 90’s with our family. Friday night has always offered a sea food buffet. Tonight we had a 7:00 reservation. We arrive a little early and Toby sat us and said our server would be with us in a little while. Not a problem at all. Dominique was our server and was very good. After sampling some shrimp and salads I went to get some crab. There was nothing on the buffet. I waited awhile and went back up and still nothing. I spoke with one of the servers at the buffet tab and he said “ that there was no more crab, we ran out.” I told Dominique and she went to the kitchen and was able to get a few crab pieces for my husband. She explained they under estimated the amount of crab they needed for tonight. I didn’t have any crab at all. Very disappointed because I do not the artificial crab they use to make the crab salad. Dominique sent Toby over who was the hostess to talk to us. She was very apologetic and said this has only happed twice in several years. She did credit us $17.18 off the bill in good faith. But still we came for crab and had nothing. Now for dessert they were out of most , so my husband ordered rice pudding which was watery and the rice wasn’t cooked. Needless to say dinner was not what we had expected. Very, very disappointed,,

We only stayed one night, but we would love to come back and spend several here! Everything about our stay was wonderful. The indoor pool area is spectacular. We were pleasantly surprised with the full-service breakfast included in the room rate.

Large, clean, ceramic bathrooms! Elegant rooms. Ample parking at the door, no stairs. Real breakfast served at your table included.

Was here for a wedding beautiful, attentive and Margie is the GOAT!!!!!!!!!!

Food qas decent but very pricey

Recently went to the Stroudsmoor for their brunch. The bill with tip was $100. I left $100 bill. They chased my wife out in the parking lot. Apparently the place had changed hands and went cashless. My wife had to go back and give them the credit card. They’re lucky they didn’t talk to me. I would have told them to take that hundred dollar bill or else. We will not be going back there because of it.
