Rooms are modern with local design touches, and downtown restaurants and bars are within walking distance. It's a mainstream hotel that we list as gay-friendly, not a gay venue. The University of Alabama campus is a short drive or ride away. As with all Tuscaloosa hotels, prices spike on home football weekends. Rated 4.5 from more than 1,400 Google reviews. This hotel is great! I travel extensively on business and this is definitely one of those hotels where they make you feel like you are home. The rooftop bar and restaurant is great. The manager Verdie is great and she runs a good team. I highly recommend this hotel.
